IKTIRAF is a national accreditation introduced by AITI to formally recognise active local ICT businesses and to promote industry development through accreditation of Brunei Darussalam’s homegrown ICT industry businesses.

IKTIRAF is introduce to allow AITI to collect reliable data as well as to establish a public directory of accredited companies for ease of reference to project owners.

No. Participation in IKTIRAF is voluntary.

The key benefit is the official recognition by AITI, and may include listing in relevant directories, and participation in programmes or opportunities made available to recipients from time to time.

No. IKTIRAF is an accreditation programme and does not replace any licences, permits, or regulatory approvals required by law.

Any ICT-related business entity legally registered and operating in Brunei Darussalam that meets the eligibility requirements may apply.

Eligible businesses include those operating in ICT-related fields such as software development, cybersecurity, cloud services, AI solutions, data analytics, digital platforms, system integration, telecommunications, and other approved ICT sectors.

IKTIRAF accreditation is valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance, subject to continued compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
